Sharon Diamond appointed executive director at JNF Ottawa

By Lance Davis, CEO, JNF Canada

JNF Canada is delighted to share that we have hired Sharon Diamond to serve as executive director of the Ottawa and Atlantic Regions.

For the last 15 years, Sharon has been working in Ottawa’s non-profit sector, holding roles in fundraising and community development with organizations ranging from the Jewish community, social services, and arts and culture. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is also an experienced volunteer within Ottawa’s Jewish community.

“I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with an organization that is so committed to building our ‘home away from home.’ Israel’s impact is deep, for the Jewish people and the broader world, and I am excited to be able to play a role in supporting its achievements,” says Sharon.

“I have worked with Sharon in the past on numerous committees and I found her to demonstrate competence, professionalism, and dedication with a special sensitivity and compassion for Jewish and Zionist causes. I am looking forward to working with her closely and achieving great things together,” said David Baker, president of the JNF Ottawa Region.

We are thrilled to have such a wonderful individual join our professional team at JNF Canada. The Ottawa and Atlantic communities are very supportive of Israel and we are confident that Sharon will strengthen relationships between our lay leadership and donors with our organization. We know that Sharon will bring these two wonderful regions to new great heights.

Sharon officially joined our team on August 17.
