Israeli man stabbed in back by Palestinian assailant in West Bank

JERUSALEM (JTA) – An Israeli man was stabbed in the back by a Palestinian terrorist at the entrance to Kiryat Arba, a Jewish settlement adjacent to the West Bank city of Hebron.

The man, 25, a resident of Kiryat Arba, was seriously wounded in the Wednesday afternoon attack, which occurred minutes after a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv which injured five and hours after a stabbing attack in Jerusalem which seriously injured a yeshiva student.

The attacker, identified by Israel’s Channel 2 as a Palestinian resident of Hebron, fled the scene; Israeli security services are searching for him.
