JERUSALEM (JTA) – Two customers of a discount supermarket in the West Bank were stabbed by an assailant in what police are treating as a terrorist attack.
The attack occurred Wednesday evening outside the Rami Levy supermarket in the Mishor Adumim industrial zone near Maale Adumim, located east of Jerusalem.
Rami Levy supermarkets are known for having both Israeli and Palestinian employees and shoppers.
The terrorist was shot in the legs by a supermarket security guard. The two stabbed shoppers reportedly were moderately injured. They all were taken to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.
